Tours & Price

All tours are currently £45.00 (Sterling) cash per hour whether there are one or four people.

There will be an increase to £55.00 (Sterling) cash per hour which will come into effect from 1st September 2022 and will apply to any tours booked to take place from 1st September 2022 onwards.

No deposit is required, payment in sterling cash on the day of the tour, no other currencies or cards. Tours normally take 3 or 4 hours but mainly 4 hours and include 2/3 short “walkabouts”

Type of Tour & Details

Please see below the variety of tours available which I can offer. I am flexible and happy to tailor a tour to meet your specific requirements or interests.  My private car, a Mercedes B200, is used for all tours. Although it is licensed to carry up to four people, it is generally more comfortable with three.

General Island Tour

Visit locations that are referenced in the book by Annie Barrows and Mary Ann Shaffer and see where the fictitious characters lived.

Megalithic Tour

A tour of the many megalithic structures and sacred sites in Guernsey, some of which are believed to be up to 7,000 years old.

Occupation Tour

Visit some of the unique fortifications remaining from the Second World War, which led to Guernsey becoming, by 1944, the most fortified place in the world.

German Naval Signal Headquarters, Underground Hospital, Occupation Museum, German Observation Tower and Battery Dolman, German Anti tank Wall, German Gun Casement.
